The Samadhi of Shrimant Peshwa Bajirao Ballahar where his ashes are buried. He died due to sudden fever and heat stroke at the age of 39 when he was camping with his 100,000 troops in Nemar Region (Madhya Pradesh) on his way to lay seige on Delhi. This place is on the bank of Narmada river & the view of the river from here is incredible.
He died waiting for Mastani to come, but his eldest son Nana Sahib had sent his mother Kashi Bai to be by his side. Nana Saheb was against Mastani. Although Kashi Bai was a benevolent lady who always had fought for Mastani to stay peacefully in Shaniwar Wada (Pune).
